THE parents and staff of St George’s School, Semington have all worked together to help support the community this half term by putting a table of goodies outside the school for local residents, school community and families, elderly and vunerable that may need a little extra help in these current times.
They report, “As always, the St George’s family have shown great community spirit in the hope that this may help people and families in need, no judgement and no questions asked.
“One of the parents spotted a plea on Facebook for a local family with no food or money for the rest of the month, and has made contact to deliver her a food package from the table.
“Others have offered jacket potatoes, soup, meals etc if needed.
“Thank you to everyone for this great opportunity to help others.”
