In the week before half term, Aloeric pupils took part in a career and aspirations week.
On Monday they came into school dressed up and role played the job that they would like to do when they leave school.
Throughout the week there were visitsĀ from people in different professions and jobs some of which were parents of children in the school. These included doctors, librarians, athletes, the armed forces and anaesthetists.
The children were given plenty of opportunity to ask questions and handle items that were brought along and even live animals.
On Friday the children of KS1 took part in a round robin activity where they could set up a cafe, build structures, take part in Olympic sports, help in a health centre and work with transport .
It certainly got the children talking especially when they were able to meet ex Aloeric pupils who had gone on to succeed in sport and other professions.
