A GLEE Club for people with additional needs and their carers is going from strength to strength.
The club runs every Wednesday from 1pm to around 2.30pm at the Melksham Hub Café next to the railway station in Station Approach,
“The club is for anyone with additional needs and their support circle to meet up, play games, have some fun and meet new friends,” said the café’s manager, Gemma Embeary.
“We launched the club in April and it’s getting more and more popular. We offer fun, friendship, music and games and people are loving it. We’ve just received extra funding, so have been able to buy some new equipment including giant outdoor games and a karaoke machine.
“The club is free, there’s no need to book, just turn up and have some fun!”
Refreshments are also available from the cafe.
